With a career shaped by some of the Middle East’s most prestigious hotels, Chef Bahzad Barafi brings exceptional expertise, creativity, and leadership to Food for Thought. His culinary journey spans iconic properties and high-profile openings, crafting world-class dining experiences, and mentoring chefs across the globe.
His influence extends far beyond the UAE. He trained culinary teams in Switzerland and London, focusing on Arabic cuisine, and promoted Middle Eastern flavours during a three-week culinary showcase in Brunei. Most recently, he brought his expertise to television, joining MasterChef Arabia as a consultant and culinary overseer, spending ten weeks guiding contestants, refining their skills, and ensuring exceptional quality in every dish.

Nutrition
We align our meal planning with evolving standards from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Municipality, ensuring every child receives age-appropriate nutrition designed for optimal growth, focus, and wellbeing.
Nutrition by Age group
Early Years: Meals focus on gentle flavours, softer textures, and nutrient-dense foods to support early growth and development. Balanced portions of proteins, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables help build healthy eating habits from the start.
Primary: Menus offer a variety of flavours and textures to encourage curiosity while meeting the higher energy needs of growing children. Each meal follows DHA guidelines to ensure balanced intake of carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats.
Secondary: Designed for active, maturing students, our meals provide sustained energy, brain-boosting nutrients, and enough variety to keep older students engaged with healthy choices. We also offer options to support sports performance and academic focus.
Hygiene & Safety
For us, your child’s health comes first. Every kitchen is monitored daily by a dedicated Hygiene Manager, ensuring we meet Dubai Municipality and international food safety standards.
Our team is trained in safe food handling, allergen management, and cross-contamination prevention, with strict cleaning and sanitation protocols in place. From sourcing ingredients to serving meals, we take every precaution to ensure food is fresh, safe, and prepared with care.
